And so begins the adventures of Stanley Davenport – Solar Energy Consultant. From this launch pad I will catalog my way through understanding and implementing the various levels of technology associated with Solar Power. From the initial approach to a home owner or commercial business to closing the project and sighing the contract. And everything in between. Complete with glossy pictures and video for your entertainment.

I just think and feel deeply that working in the solar energy industry will be a rewarding and enlightening way to earn a living. I’ve wanted to change career paths for several years but just didn’t know what I wanted. Then about two years ago, (2008) I started hearing a lot of buzz about “going solar”. But many years beyond that I knew that we were missing out on the benefits of using sunlight and wind, the most basic of solar power, by not designing homes and commercial buildings to take more advantage of it. Now that is the direction I am going.   I’m going to become a green collar worker with a white collar paycheck.  Stay tuned……….more to come.
